FAQ’s

Do I have to be strong or flexible to do circus?
No, but by doing circus you will become strong and flexibile! Any of our Intro/Beginner or All Levels classes are designed with new students in mind. We will work with you at your level and help you get where you want to go. Our instructors are trained to make even the hardest things accessible, by breaking them down into appropriate progressions. Our job is to help you build strength and body awareness. This will progress over time as you continue taking class. Try not to get overwhelmed by all the bad-assery around you. We were all beginners once. Every body, every age, every ability, every level is welcome.
-
What should I wear to class?
Wear something that you can move in! Form fitting clothing is usually best as it doesn’t end up over your head if you go upside down. For aerial classes covering your belly and the backs of your knees can help prevent scrapes and burns. On pole however skin helps you stick to the pole so shorts are encouraged. If you’re unsure of what to wear to class, don’t sweat it, just ask your instructor at the first class. Please avoid wearing jewelry on the silks as it causes rips in the fabric. No transparent material that shows ‘any bits’ is allowed. No undergarments are allowed to be used in place of workout attire. Scented personal products (such as fragrances, colognes, lotions and powders) that are perceptible to others in the studio should not be worn. Use of deodorant/antiperspirant to minimize body odors is highly encouraged. We keep some spray deodorant in the bathroom should you want to freshen up before or after class.
-
What ages do you teach?
All of our group classes are ages 13 and up. For students under the age of 18 we require consent from a parent or guardian. For our pole classes we also require consent from our instructors since not all pole classes are suitable for teens. We predominantly teach circus to adults because ADULTS DESERVE TO PLAY TOO!! With that being said we do offer Kid’s Parties as well as Private and Semi-Private Lessons for all ages. We love working with people of all ages and backgrounds so please reach out if you need help figure out which of our offerings is right for you.
-
Are you accessible?
We aim to be. We have handicapped parking right in front of the space. We have ADA compliant bathrooms and have clear pathways for wheelchairs and other mobility devices with the exception of mats that we are happy to move for you. We strive to be accessible to all people that have the desire to do circus. Many of our instructors are already skilled in working with and modifying for physical limitations and/or neurodivergence. We have instructors that are fluent in sign language. Please reach out if you have specific needs and we will do our best to meet them!

Sales/Cancellation Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Full payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise noted in the system. All payments are nonrefundable. Any no-shows will forfeit the class fee, and not be able to reschedule.
Rescheduling & Cancelling out of a class requires a minimum of 24 hours notice before the start time of class, either through the scheduling system or by email (if you’re having difficulty using the system). The system will not allow rescheduling/cancelling within 24hours of the start time.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will forfeit the lesson fee (group or private). Class cancellations, with more than 24 hours until start time, will be credited to your account automatically for future use in any class.

If the studio cancels a class due to low attendance, you will receive a cancellation notice via email and your class will automatically be credited to your account for future use.

What do I do if I'm sick or injured?
Communicate with us as soon as possible. We will do what we can to work with you. Please do not come to the studio if you are sick with anything contagious. If you are getting over being sick but still have some lingering respiratory symptoms we ask that you wear a mask until it clears up. For longer term injuries or sickness we may be able to pause your class pack until you’re healed. Certain conditions like concussions require a doctors note in order to “return to play”.

I can't login, how do I reschedule/cancel?
Start with the confirmation email you would've received directly after you booked into the class. Then click the CHANGE/CANCEL APPOINTMENT button.

We recommend logging in first, though this is not required (login button in top right corner of page, very small). You should be able to reschedule your class using the directions on the site.
