Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Summary: Circus Sanctuary is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide essential support for our Circus Studio. Our mission encourages everyone to play like a child, train like an athlete, and perform like an artist. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain regular communication with the Business Owner/Artistic Director, providing updates and reports as needed.
Respond to client emails and phone calls with friendly, professional customer service.
Communicate effectively with instructors, the owner, and any other CS staff ensuring smooth operations.
Handle third party business inquiries promptly and professionally.
Manage our scheduling software, including class schedules, attendance tracking, and the creation of discounts and packages.
Assist with light accounting tasks, including payroll, record keeping, and reconciliation.
Writing and distributing contracts, creating and collecting invoices, managing online payments.
Update and maintain the company website.
Create and distribute a monthly newsletter to keep clients informed and engaged.
Supervise Open Studio sessions, rig equipment and ensure safety measures and established SOPs are being followed.
Organize and maintain filing systems and other administrative functions as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior administrative experience; previous work in a small business is a plus.
Familiarity with QuickBooks Online.
Experience with Acuity
Experience in a studio or gym setting, ideally circus arts or related fields
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Website maintenance experience, particularly with Squarespace
CPR/First Aid Certification Required

Pay Information
This position is part-time and is paid hourly. Estimated 10-15 hrs. a week to start. This position is likely to grow as we grow. Pay $16-18/hr. DOE.
